Strength Boosts:What are strength boosts you ask? Well it is true that as your pet gets stronger, the more damage it deals, but just because you go up 1 strength doesn't always equal doing more damage. There are certain strength values you must be at to deal the stronger attacks. Strength boosts are generally multipliers-- the amount of icons shown from the weapon you use is multiplied by your strength boost to figure out the damage you have dealt. Here is a little table of the strength boosts and what their multipliers are:
Note: these can give you a good idea of how much damage you can deal, but the type of attack you and your opponent use is a big influence on how much damage is finally dealt. Keep in mind the same multiplier that added to your strength is subtracted from your defense (and vice-versa), be warned... (Also, if your petpet shows up to help you, you will deal more damage, even if you don't select the Use Petpet option.)
